The pandemic has not only been a threat to the livelihood of millions of people but it has also exposed and widen the existing social inequality issues including but not limited to racism, religion-based discrimination, and gender inequality.

This session is in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Foundation to discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted efforts to promote social justice, freedom of religion, pluralism, and gender equality. It will also explore how this pandemic can be an opportunity to do a reset on social issues and come up with ideas on ways to address those issues.
