Did you know, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) notes that due to the COVID-19 outbreak, about three-in-ten Asian adults (31%) say they have been subject to slurs or jokes because of their race or ethnicity since the outbreak began?

The pandemic has not only been a threat to the livelihood of millions of people but it has also exposed and widen the existing social inequality issues including but not limited to racism, religion-based discrimination, and gender inequality.

Join our “The Great Social Reset: Another Shot to Build a Just, Equitable, Harmonious Societies” session at the Global Town Hall tomorrow at 1140am!

This session is in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Foundation to discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted efforts to promote social justice, freedom of religion, pluralism, and gender equality. It will also explore how this pandemic can be an opportunity to do a reset on social issues and come up with ideas on ways to address those issues.

To join the discussion, please register at gth2020.com and be a part of the premier foreign policy event of the year featuring the world’s best thinkers!
